WHO WE ARE

Mcrissar Foundation is a non-profit, nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization officially founded in 2020 and registered under the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number 192580. Our mission is guided by a commitment to five fundamental pillars:

       1. Leadership Development: Empowering young women and girls to assume leadership roles in their communities.

      2. Healthcare/Menstrual Hygiene: Promoting healthcare and menstrual hygiene awareness among women and girls.

      3. Women Empowerment: Advancing women’s empowerment through peace building initiatives , education and support.

      4. Education: Providing educational resources and support for women and girls.

      5. Gender-based support for survivors of SGBV: Offering support and assistance to survivors of gender-based violence.

Our focus areas encompass Governance, Peacebuilding, Research and Development, and Climate Action.
